'BUILDING ON MOMENTUM'

ONE-DAY CONFERENCE - THURSDAY 12TH OCTOBER 2017 - EDINBURGH

Sponsorship

The Build to Rent Forum Scotland has been organised by Movers & Shakers and supported by Homes for Scotland and the Scottish Property Federation. This is an authoritative one-day event that brings together Private and Public Sector Leaders and key stakeholders in the emerging Build to Rent Sector to: debate, exchange ideas and consider what more can be done to develop “build to rent” in Scotland.

THEME FOR 2017 - “Building on Momentum”

Building on the conferences in 2015 and 2016 and the progress made in the market in the last 12 months, this year’s theme “Building on Momentum” will explore how the market has developed and whether the current impetus is sustainable.

By the time of the conference Scottish Government will have launched the ‘Build to Rent Opportunity Document’ a catalyst for investment in this asset class in Scotland. The conference will explore how well this has been received by the market, how well it meets the needs of developers and investors, what the prospects are for growth and whether any barriers remain.

We will also be looking at how the market has developed over the last 12 months, where the best market opportunities exist and what BTR models are working.

Join us to get the inside track on what is happening in the market, who the key players are and what development and investment models are emerging. Listen to key policy makers from Scottish Government, Local Authorities and Leaders from the Private Sector.
